EKWB 3070/3080/3090 Asus Strix Backplate w/ VRAM Cooling Solution. My 3090 VRAM mem chips on the back of the PCB ran hot, even with EKWB backplate/thermal pads for passive cooling and a fan pointed at the back of GPU. So I created this with an aluminum heatsink mounted to the backplate with thermal tape and a Scythe 92mm 2500 RPM fan for silent cooling. Dropped temps 20 degrees Celsius. I the mod can be reversed by soaking in alcohol, which will dissolve the thermal tape. Perfect solution for someone who needs VRAM cooling with EKWB waterblock!
