If you had one of our decals display bubbling (and it happens quickly) simple send a portion of the decal back and it will be replaced and the replacement shipped free of charge. version.) Our additional process includes a 3M backing hard plastic disk to eliminate any imperfections on your metal medallion base and provide more rigidity.
This Glastron replacement decal was first issued in 2011 and Glastron Replica has now sold over 250. This is the exact replica decal for the front medallion on your boat with the colors computer matched to original Glastron blue and red and a custom copper die created to emboss the ridges and highlights. And, as with the Glastron original, a genuine chrome Mylar material is used rather than the competitor's aluminum ink.

Other Great Stuff!
Some great questions came in during our decal sales. Here's the basic question and answer:
1.
“Does the decal fit the bow medallion or is it just a sticker?”
Fits inside the metal medallion on the bow, but you could stick it anywhere. This is how Glastron constructed and applied the original decals and why ours is on the original live and Let die jump boat displayed in London.
2.
“Cost to ship overseas?”
We lowered the price for international shipping by first class air to a flat . That will cover costs anywhere on the globe. Of course, next day air to Uzbakistan could run a little more!
3.
“Do you accept checks, etc. instead of PayPal?”
Sure. It all works.
4.
“Do you have other Glastron replication items?”
Yes, we are working on several items that are typically in bad shape on old GTs including our restored football emblems that are better than anything currently on the market.
5.
“Is that your boat shown above?”
Yes, actually it’s one of three 1972 orange/creme Glastron GTs we owned. We get most of our replication ideas from our own boat and friend’s boats.
6.
“We have a 78 GT150 that we are restoring. Ours is a blue with teal/metal flaking. Were the medallions the same on all boat paint colors as you have reproduced? Thanks!”
Yes, Glastron even used the same design and colors on its popular Sno-Jet snowmobile line!
7.
"What's with the cheaper Poland decal being sold?"
It's a photo-copy of ours. Not only the Chinese violate copyrights. The version from Poland makes illegal use of our expensive re-created original. But it's not the same. Glastron used real chrome film for virtually all of their decals. And so do we. The knock-offs from Poland use aluminum ink to try and match the chrome look of Glastron. Doesn't work. There is also no rigid back, no embossed hash marks, nor correct color matches.

Do you have the CV decal for the 1974 Glastron? I ordered one from Poland without chrome, not happy!"
Yes, sure do. And it's a perfect replacement.
9. "This picture is a decal from the Polish seller after one year on my boat." (See picture above.) Sorry you started with a cheaper copy. Ours will never have this issue or it will be replaced free of charge. And it almost never happens. Twice out of 250+ decals sold.
Trivia: Cost of a new GT-150 in 1978? ,300 and no motor or controls.
Update: Two of our boats were sold.  Below are videos of one boat going through time trials at 45+ mph. This 1972 85hp Johnson had less than 100 hrs. on it.
