I retired (5) years ago after spending the majority of my career working in testing and calibration labs and relocated to the northeast.  I wrote calibration procedures and was the calibration procedure release focal for the largest aerospace manufacture in the U.S.A. My main area of expertise was in dimensional metrology. I also participated in writing many ASME B89 standards including B89.3.7 “Granite Surface Plates” which replaced Federal Specification GGG-P-463c.
I acquired this item used a number of years ago with the intent of possibly opening my own calibration laboratory someday. I have never previously used it. It has been kept in storage since then.

NOTE: Does not include any gage heads, gage amplifier or any accessories.
NOTE: This carrying case originally came as part of a Federal 232P-68 differential electronic level system which had included (2) Federal EGH-13 gage (sensing) heads and (1) Federal 232 series EAS-1338 gaging amplifier.
NOTE: Some systems also came as a “Angular-Linear Measurement Kit” as the EAS-1338 gaging amplifier had dual scales in red and black. “
The angular values appeared in
red
on the dual purpose dial. Linear values are also present – printed in
black
– to permit using the amplifier with Federal’s linear gage heads.
” Typically with either a EHE-1048 lever type gage head and/or a EHE-1xxx series cartridge gage head. Other Federal 232 series EAS-1xxx gaging amplifiers should also fit in this case.
The carrying case will only be shipped by USPS retail ground within the U.S.A.
