Green Opalescent Glass Jam Pickle Dish Bowl Ring Jewelry Holder Eyewinker Mosser

Description

This is an ornate Green Opalescent glass jam and pickle dish or candy and nut bowl. Would also make an exceptional pin dish and ring jewelry holder on a dresser.
The glass is a clear bright lime green.  It has a creamy pale green opalescent edge to the dish and also on the feet.
The lovely pattern is called Eyewinker, but has also been called Cannon Ball and Winking Eye. (The design was originally made by Dalzell, Gilmore, & Leighton in 1889!)
There is excellent detail in the pattern.
The dish has 4 sculpted feet and the "bowl" flares out.
Stands appx 2-1/2" tall and is 5-`/2 " long by 3-1/2" across.
New and in excellent condition.
An excellent example of hand made pressed glass. Made by Mosser Glass of Cambridge Ohio.
