Lovely Purple Opalescent Glass Iced Tea Water Lemonade Pitcher Eyewinker Mosser

Description

This is a gorgeous Plum Opalescent Glass water pitcher in a classic tavern shape.  It is a lovely clear purple with just a hint of red in the glass and is called Plum.  It has a creamy pale purple opalescence that runs around the edge and down the side a little - the top of the handle even has opalescence.
The lovely pattern is called Eyewinker, but has also been called Cannon Ball and Winking Eye. (The design was originally made by Dalzell, Gilmore, & Leighton in 1889!)
Has a slight flare to the side, a short pedestal and flat base for stability. Similar to the water pitchers used at road side taverns in the old days.
Stands 8" to the top of the pour spout and 7" at the sides. Easily holds 3 cups (24 oz).  The perfect size for iced tea, ice water, lemonade and any of your favorite beverages.
New and in mint condition.
An excellent example of hand made pressed glass at its finest.
