Offered here is a vintage FACTORY SEALED / NEVER OPENED jigsaw puzzle, which is dated 1977 & 1978. It features graphics like the original 1-sheet movie poster from the first (1977) release of STAR WARS. (NOW known as "Star Wars: A New Hope.") The box is marked, "STAR WARS JIGSAW PUZZLE...1000 INTERLOCKING PIECES 19 & 3/8" X 26 & 3/4"...Copyright 1977 TWENTIETH CENTURY-FOX FILM CORPORATION. Copyright GENERAL MILLS FUN GROUP, INC. 1978." The box measures 12 x 9 & 3/4 x 2 inches. The box is in VERY GOOD to FINE condition. The biggest flaw on the box is, on the upper / left side there is a THIN WHITE MARK or SCUFF to the surface paper. (See close-up with pencil point.) The box top bows inward slightly - not too bad. The tips of the corners have a small amount of wear - nothing too serious. The original K-Mart price sticker is on the bottom end of the box top. The box still displays very nicely.
